Badges
Onsite access to all scientific and networking events will only be possible with your personal badge. All participants are requested to wear their name badge throughout the congress.
Currency
The official currency used in Scotland and the rest of the United Kingdom is the pound Stirling (£), commonly abbreviated to GBP.
Major credit cards are accepted at most cash points (ATM machines), stores, restaurants and hotels.
Electricity
Scotland operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz.
Official plugs in Scotland are Type G.
If you are traveling from Europe or America, you will need an adapter.
Health
All visitors are advised to have valid international insurance.
Invitation letter
An invitation letter for the purpose of obtaining a travel visa or permission to attend the meeting will be handed out on request after a successful registration for the conference.
Language
English is spoken by the staff of all hotels, restaurants and shops.
